Description

Have fun, meet new friends, learn new skills and make an impact at the Norlands!  The Norlands, a 19th-century living history museum, is recruiting volunteers to assist with tours and demonstrations.

Interpreters are an essential part of Norlands’ educational programs. By touring Norlands, visitors gain a better understanding the Washburn family, their achievements, and life in rural Maine in the 1800s. Norlands staff will work with you to find your "best highest purpose" here at Norlands, matching your interests, skills, time availability, and interpreter needs.  If you have an interest in communicating with the public why rural Maine and/or the Washburn Family is a story worth telling, then we'd like to hear from you.
