Community Rides coordinates volunteer drivers who help community members in the Farmington area maintain dignity and independence by providing transportation, for those in need, to and from requested local destinations in the region including, but not limited to, medical appointments, hair appointments, the grocery store, recreations, exercise, socialization and volunteering. Rides are offered for free and volunteers will not receive reimbursement. Volunteers are supported by a program coordinator and will participate in a detailed orientation.

Additional details: Volunteers must have a current Maine Driver's License, have a registered, inspected and insured vehicle and a good driving record.
